Life is neither easy nor simple. And sometimes when life throws you curve balls, it’s hard to remain positive and remember all the things, big and small, that we should be grateful for in our lives. Research has consistently shown that gratefulness and life satisfaction go hand in hand. People who cultivate a habit of gratitude are more positive, happier and more satisfied with their lives.

However, cultivating a gratitude mindset takes work.  It’s easy to be grateful when things are going well.  The true test is keeping that gratitude mindset when life hands you a basket of lemons.  The ability to maintain a balanced perspective during these difficult times will, in the long run, help build a more resilient spirit.

For some expert tips on how to cultivate a habit of gratitude on a daily basis, read the attached article which lists some suggestions from Dr Robert Emmons, a gratitude researcher and psychology professor at the University of California.

I hope these tips will help you make wonderful lemonade the next time life hands you a basket of lemons !

And I’m grateful you took the time to read this blog…..thank you.
